About the role

As our Translator, you will be responsible for translating various marketing and online materials from English to Danish, and ideally, also to Norwegian. You'll ensure all translations align with brand guidelines and are culturally appropriate, accurate, and convey the intended meaning. We're looking for a candidate with excellent written communication skills in Danish and ideally, Norwegian, who can work with strong attention to detail even under pressure. Your Key Responsibilities Translate and adapt global marketing materials (including website copy, newsletters, social media content, paid media assets, etc.) into Danish and ideally Norwegian to appeal to local audiences. Edit and proofread copy to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to the brand's guidelines. Write clear, concise, and compelling marketing copy for locally created marketing and online assets that align with the brand's tone of voice and appeal to the target audience. Conduct light SEO optimization on website copy to improve search engine rankings. Manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring that all deadlines are met. Work collaboratively with other departments and team members to ensure that all projects are completed on time and to the highest standard. Keep up to date with the latest trends and incorporate them into the copy to ensure it remains fresh and relevant. Play a key role in establishing our new Content & Assets team

Requirements

  • Your Qualifications:
  • For you to be a success in this job, we expect you to be a highly skilled translator with minimum 3 years of experience from a comparable job - preferably within the beauty, fashion, or lifestyle industry.
  • Native speaker of Danish and ideally Norwegian (excellent grammar is essential)
  • 3+ years of experience in professional translation from English to Danish and preferably also Norwegian from a lifestyle/beauty/fashion company or an agency.
  • Good copywriting skills, with the ability to write engaging and on-brand content
  • Experience working with translation software systems
  • Light SEO proofreading is a plus
  • Strong cultural understanding and ability to adapt language to various audiences
