About the role
This position is located in the Department of Housing and Urban Development, Office of the Chief Human Capital Officer. Specialized Experience: For the GS-15 grade level, you must have one year (52 full weeks) of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-14 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position is defined as meeting 3 of the 5 bullets below: Leading or managing a federal recruitment and staffing program that includes competitive and excepted service hiring authorities as well as Senior Executive Service (SES); AND Developing and implementing organizational workforce plans that combine human capital data, organizational design, and succession planning needs; AND Managing complex compensation, benefits, and retirement programs; AND Providing technical and administrative direction on human capital policies, regulatory guidance, and internal controls; AND Holding senior HR staff accountable for human capital program deliverables (such as effectiveness, timeliness, compliance, or risk mitigation). The experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis. Time-in-Grade: In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable: For the GS-15 you must have been at the GS-14 level for 52 weeks.
