PRIMARY FUNCTION: Receive raw materials for feed production . RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS: Receive and unload rail cars and trucks into correct ingredient bin locations or warehouse, and enter information on receiving reports as required. Inventory raw material tanks daily, record measurements, and report information to the supervisor. Collect samples as directed by the supervisor. Must have the ability to be certified as a rail car mover. Must have the ability to be certified for forklift operation. Communicate to the supervisor any issues that interfere with receiving operations. Perform housekeeping duties as assigned by the supervisor. Perform load-out duties when necessary. Must be able to perform duties effectively with minimal supervision. Must have the ability to cooperate with other mill and maintenance employees, as well as truck drivers and railroad employees. Must be willing to work overtime until the job is completed each day. Other duties as assigned by the supervisor. EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required Perform basic-level mathematical calculations involving subtraction, addition, multiplication, and division. Utilize basic computer functions such as data entry.
