About the role

We are looking for an experienced and responsible Logistics Manager to oversee and manage daily logistics, transportation, delivery operations, warehouse coordination, and manpower planning. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth movement of goods, vehicles, drivers, and operational resources in a safe, timely, and cost-effective manner. Job Responsibilities Plan, manage, and monitor daily logistics and transportation operations. Coordinate with drivers, warehouse staff, suppliers, customers, and internal departments to ensure timely delivery and collection of goods. Arrange vehicle schedules, delivery routes, manpower allocation, and job assignments. Monitor vehicle usage, maintenance schedules, fuel consumption, road tax, insurance, and other transport-related matters. Ensure all logistics activities comply with company policies, safety requirements, traffic regulations, and customer requirements. Supervise drivers and logistics staff to ensure productivity, discipline, and work efficiency. Prepare and maintain logistics records, delivery orders, invoices, vehicle documents, job schedules, and operational reports. Liaise with customers and vendors regarding delivery arrangements, service issues, and operational requirements. Handle urgent logistics issues, delivery delays, vehicle breakdowns, customer complaints, and manpower shortages. Monitor logistics costs and recommend improvements to reduce expenses and improve operational efficiency. Ensure proper handling, loading, unloading, storage, and movement of goods. Support management in business planning, operational improvement, and manpower recruitment when required. Job Requirements Minimum diploma or relevant qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or equivalent. At least 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in logistics, transportation, warehouse, or supply chain operations. Good knowledge of delivery planning, fleet management, warehouse coordination, and manpower supervision. Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and coordination skills. Able to work under pressure and handle multiple operational tasks. Good knowledge of Singapore roads, logistics procedures, and transportation regulations will be an advantage. Able to communicate effectively with drivers, workers, customers, suppliers, and management. Must be responsible, independent, hardworking, and able to make quick decisions. Basic computer knowledge, including Microsoft Excel, Word, email, and logistics reporting. Willing to work flexible hours, weekends, or public holidays when operationally required. Class 3 driving licence will be an added advantage. Other Requirements Able to manage a team of drivers and logistics workers. Able to ensure timely completion of delivery schedules and customer requirements. Able to maintain proper documentation and submit reports to management. Able to improve daily operations, reduce delays, and control logistics costs. Must be committed to workplace safety, discipline, and company procedures.
