Shape Characters That Players Will Remember At Gameloft, great game experiences start with memorable visuals. We are looking for a 3D Character Artist who is passionate about bringing characters to life and creating high-quality game assets for players around the world. As part of our Graphics Team in Yogyakarta Studio, you will contribute to the visual production of Gameloft's world-acclaimed mobile games and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams throughout the game development process. If you enjoy combining artistic creativity with technical execution and want to create game-ready characters, this role is for you. WHAT YOU WILL BE WORKING ON Your Main Challenge Create high-quality 3D character assets for mobile platforms while maintaining Gameloft's visual standards and ensuring assets are optimized and ready for production. What It Means on a Daily Basis - Create 3D character assets from concept to final in-game integration - Break down concepts into production-ready asset plans - Sculpt, model, unwrap, bake, texture, and optimize 3D assets - Work with 3ds Max, proprietary tools, and game engines to complete production tasks - Collaborate closely with production artists, designers, and developers to ensure assets are game ready - Communicate effectively with team members across the production pipeline - Receive feedback, iterate, and maintain consistent quality standards - Report progress and collaborate with the Lead 3D Artist on workflows, revisions, and creative directions WHAT SUCCESS WILL LOOK LIKE Within your first 1-2 months, you will quickly learn our production pipeline, tools, and artistic standards while contributing to active game production. By around 6 months, you are expected to independently deliver game-ready 3D character assets while maintaining quality, efficiency, and collaboration across the team. WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED - An up-to-date portfolio showcasing your artistic and technical skills - Passion for 3D content creation and video game development - Strong proficiency in 3ds Max, ZBrush, 3D-Coat, and Photoshop - Advanced knowledge of high-poly and low-poly modelling - Strong understanding of texturing workflows with focus on hand-painted textures - Degree/Diploma in 3D Game Art or equivalent academic or professional experience - Strong communication and collaboration skills - Ownership mindset and attention to detail YOUR RECRUITMENT JOURNEY Recruiter Screening Interview 10 Days Art Test Interview with Art Team
