Volunteer work helps build critical competencies; knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. To qualify at the GS-14 Level:SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: You must possess one full year (52 weeks) of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 in the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as: Applying advanced intelligence analysis methods to collect, evaluate, and interpret all-source information to identify threats and risks to national security. Producing written intelligence assessments, reports, or analytical products to support investigative objectives and inform decision-making. Establishing and maintaining relationships with intelligence, law enforcement, or interagency partners to coordinate information sharing and support intelligence activities. Developing and presenting analytic judgments and recommendations to senior officials based on intelligence findings.
