We are seeking a friendly and efficient Catering Assistant to join our team in Bellshill, United Kingdom. As a key member of our catering staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our food service and maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction. Our services run over dayshift, backshift and nightshift/ Assist in the preparation and presentation of meals, snacks, and beverages Maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen environment, adhering to food safety standards Serve food to customers in a friendly and professional manner Operate kitchen equipment and utensils safely and efficiently Assist with stock rotation and inventory management Assist in setting up and clearing dining areas Support the catering team during special events or functions Comply with all health and safety regulations Basic food handling and hygiene knowledge Have a contagious passion for food and/or customer service Previous experience in a catering or food service role is often a plus Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong team player with a collaborative attitude Keen attention to detail and commitment to high standards of cleanliness GCSE or equivalent qualifications in English and Maths preferred Food hygiene certificate is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided BaxterStorey Values: ALWAYS VISIONARY We strive for better, we never settle, never compromise, never follow.
