Requirements

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to lift 50lbs, with no physical limitations of your hands, back or legs
  • Able to climb, kneel, drive and stand for long periods of time
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Good organizational and prioritization skills
  • Must have a valid driver's license and proof of insurance
  • Basic math skills with attention to details
  • Calibration Experience within ISO 17025 Quality Systems
  • Knowledge of principles, procedures, methods and techniques in metrology gained through education, or professional experience
  • Knowledge and experience with Electrical, Physical, and/or Mechanical Calibration of equipment
  • Experience working with Manufacturers' Quality Systems
  • Associate's degree in Engineering, Electronics or other Technical Fields
  • Technical Degree or Certificate
  • Military PMEL Training
  • Metrology experience
  • Experience with IndySoft

OCS Technologies, an Accredited Labs company, is seeking a qualified Scale repair technician to support on-site calibration services for customers throughout Northeast Ohio and Western Pennsylvania. Day to Day Responsibilities: Inspect, maintain, calibrate, and repair mechanical and electronic weighing equipment Complete accurate and timely calibrations and repairs on customer sites Perform routine and complex repairs and calibration on a wide range of scales per company processes and instruction documentation Perform repairs and calibrations on various weighing equipment in accordance with established procedures and standards Working directly with clients throughout the process from the first onsite touch point to completion of the project, including great communication to provide client updates to services needed Interact professionally with customers, providing excellent service and support Ensure all activities comply with industry regulations and quality standards Collect and measure data to support calibration traceability & documentation Maintain records and documentation, ensuring all data is accurate and up to date You will be successful in this role if you: Have the ability to learn mechanical and technical skills quickly Can adapt to multiple different work environments and settings - including Laboratory and Industrial settings Are customer-oriented with excellent communication skills. Are a person who is punctual, respectful, and honest with a positive attitude Have excellent attention to detail Have a strong work ethic
