- POSITION SUMMARY:
- The Moore Lab is a new translational research group at the Orthopedic Soft Tissue Research (OSTR) Program of the Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS). The Moore Lab focuses on improving recovery from orthopedic soft tissue injuries using biomaterials and drug delivery approaches.
- The Postdoctoral Fellow will work in a collaborative multidisciplinary team of surgeons, scientists and engineers, in a project aiming to develop of biomaterials to modulate pro-fibrotic signaling after musculoskeletal injuries.

Requirements
- Doctorate Degree. PhD candidates with expected impending graduation are also encouraged to apply.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to analyze data and translate into both lay and scientific terms.
- Familiarity with computers and software including Word, Excel and Powerpoint. Experience with Prism, QuPath, R or Stata is helpful but not required.

Emp Status Regular Full time Work Shift Day (United States of America) Compensation Range The base pay scale for this position is $71,564.06 - $78,010.40. In addition, this position will be eligible for additional benefits consistent with the role. The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be determined based on various factors, including but not limited to: scope of role, level of experience, education, accomplishments, internal equity, budget, and subject to Fair Market Value evaluation. The hiring range listed is a good faith determination of potential compensation at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future.
