About the role

Being a Senior Product Engineer at FINNY means owning meaningful product surfaces end-to-end, from idea to production. Responsibilities

  • Partner deeply with Product & Design
  • Collaborate with Product on ideation, scoping, and prioritization
  • Help turn ambiguous product ideas into clear technical requirements
  • Build across the stack
  • Lead development across backend and frontend, with support from domain specialists
  • Typical ownership areas include:
  • Backend workflows, APIs, data models, and AI features.
  • Feature-level infrastructure (jobs, orchestration, observability)
  • Product logic that spans backend + frontend

Requirements

  • You're a product-minded engineer
  • You frame engineering work in terms of user value and business impact
  • You care deeply about what you're building, not just how
  • You enjoy owning a problem end-to-end and seeing it through to customers
  • You're technically strong
  • 5+ years of experience building full-stack systems
  • Python (FastAPI), GO, Typescript (React)
  • MongoDB, Postgres
  • AWS, Snowflake, Temporal0
  • Experience working with data-heavy systems and production infrastructure
  • Familiar with modern product stacks and tooling
  • Your working style
  • You move fast, iterate, and aren't afraid of ambiguity
  • You communicate clearly and make tradeoffs explicit
  • You raise the bar for quality while shipping continuously
  • You're excited to work in-person, NYC (Chelsea), 5 days/week
