Designer Engineer

Requirements

• Diploma or equivalent in Architecture, Engineering, Construction, or related field; relevant certificates are an advantage.
• Familiarity with construction materials, building systems, and site practices; experience with glazing or fire-stop systems is a plus.
• Proficiency in design or drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD or similar) and basic MS Office skills.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
• Ability to work on-site and occasionally attend site visits, measurements, and inspections across Singapore.

Additional Information

This is a full-time, on-site Designer role based in Singapore. The Designer will support related projects by interpreting drawings, preparing detailed design layouts, and translating technical requirements into practical solutions for building materials and systems. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing project specifications, coordinating with project managers and sales teams, and proposing design details that optimize the use of glazing sealants, fire-stop systems, and related products. The role involves producing clear drawings and sketches, recommending suitable materials and finishes, and collaborating with contractors and site teams to resolve design issues during installation. The Designer will also assist in site measurements, mock-ups, and quality checks to ensure designs are feasible, safe, and aligned with client requirements and company standards.
