Responsibilities
- Compliance & Regulatory
- Oversee the firm's compliance function and ensure adherence to MAS, SGX, CSRC, and other regulatory requirements.
- Develop, review, and update compliance policies, procedures, and internal controls.
- Manage regulatory reporting, regulatory filings, audits, and engagements with MAS, SGX, and external auditors.
- Monitor regulatory developments and implement necessary compliance changes.
- Conduct compliance training, maintain compliance registers, and oversee data protection and outsourcing governance.

- Review client onboarding, AML/CFT screening, and suspicious transaction reporting.
- Review legal agreements and corporate finance submissions (IPO, RTO, placements, underwriting).
- Conduct internal compliance reviews and advise management on regulatory risks and best practices.
- Support cross-functional projects and provide compliance guidance to business units.
- Corporate Secretarial
- Coordinate Board meetings, prepare resolutions and meeting documentation.
- Maintain corporate governance documents, Delegation of Authority (DOA), and Terms of Reference (TOR).
- Manage corporate insurance renewals and support corporate secretarial and governance matters as required.
Requirements
- Degree / Diploma in Law, Finance, Accountancy, Business, or equivalent
- Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in the investment banking or capital market industry
- Prior exposure to corporate finance transactions (e.g. IPOs, RTOs, M&A) or Catalist sponsorship work is strongly preferred
- Experience in compliance, audit, legal, or a front-office corporate finance role with compliance involvement will be considered
- Familiarity with SGX listing rules, MAS licensing requirements, and capital markets regulations is highly advantageous
- Able to work autonomously with sound judgment and minimal supervision
- Strong understanding of or keen interest in corporate finance deal flows, sponsor obligations, and regulatory framework governing MAS licensed entities in Singapore
- High level of integrity, with the confidence to voice opinions and escalate issues appropriately
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to engage senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams
- Team player and keen to assume additional responsibilities and participate in new initiatives
