Responsibilities

• Lead Parks and Streetscapes Service Unit strategy and operations
• Oversee maintenance programs and service delivery
• Manage large multidisciplinary workforce and contractors
• Drive innovation in public open space management
• Develop business, capital and operational plans
• Monitor performance, budgets and service outcomes
• Build partnerships with stakeholders and industry

Requirements

• You're a strategic leader passionate about public spaces. You'll ideally bring:
• Relevant tertiary qualification in parks or environment
• Extensive parks and open space management experience
• Strong leadership of large operational teams
• People centric leadership style
• Proven strategic planning and service delivery expertise
• Financial management and budget control experience
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
• Ability to drive innovation and continuous improvement
• Knowledge of industry trends and compliance standards
