WHAT YOU WILL BE WORKING ON We are looking for a Senior Unreal Engine Cinematic Artist to bring stories to life with visually striking real-time cinematics. You will be responsible for crafting high-quality cinematics and gameplay sequences in UE5, collaborating closely with directors, designers, animators and technical teams to deliver emotionally engaging experiences. What it means on a daily basis Create high-quality real-time cinematics using Unreal Engine 5 Translate storyboards and scripts into compelling visual sequences Use Sequencer to build, edit and polish cinematic scenes Collaborate with animation, lighting, VFX, environment and technical teams Set up cameras, composition, timing and pacing to support storytelling Apply cinematic polish, including depth of field, motion blur and post-processing Optimise scenes for performance while preserving visual fidelity Troubleshoot and resolve creative and technical challenges Who you will be working with You'll join a collaborative team of 30 artists across multiple disciplines at our Brisbane Studio, contributing to an unannounced project. WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED Proven experience as a cinematic artist in games, film or real‑time production Extensive knowledge of Unreal Engine 5, including Sequencer, cameras and rendering pipelines Thorough understanding of cinematography principles - composition, framing, lighting and timing Experience with animation pipelines and assets A keen storytelling instinct and a good sense of visual pacing
