Location: Physicians - Neurology - Toledo Department: Neurophysiology Weekly Hours: 40 Status: Full time Shift: Days (United States of America) Job Summary: As a Certified Medical Assistant at ProMedica, you will work directly with patients and providers to deliver clinical excellence and enhanced patient experience. You will prepare patients for visits by taking and documenting vital signs, performing specialized tests and preparing schedules. These tasks require following clinical protocols, regulatory requirements and standards. Communication is key in this role; you will interact with patients, peers and all members of the health care team. You will also apply your clinical knowledge when answering patient phone calls and relaying messages for providers or nurses. This position also requires leadership skills as you will act as a resource and role model for Medical Assistants and Patient Service Coordinator teams.
