The role may also be eligible for bonus or commission pay. Actual compensation may vary due to factors such as experience and skill set. As the Analyst, Logistics, you will be responsible for developing actionable analyses to improve the productivity and efficiency of our operations. What your day-to-day will look like: Support customer with respect to Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), including, but not limited to, reducing backorders and past dues, accurate forecasts, new model launches, recalls, supplier collaboration Utilize customer tools to provide accurate updates related to shipments, forecasts, schedules, etc. Prepare operational analyses of services, projects or general business functions Collaborate cross functionally with other departments of the customer, including, but not limited to, engineering, logistics, product development, supplier quality and purchasing Maintain databases, extract information and develop metrics and scorecards to measure and improve overall performance Analyze operations, including performance and productivity data, and error rates/root causes; review reports to identify operational issues across departments Prepare related reports, graphs, charts, presentations and other documents to support analyses Utilize systems and software to develop and maintain reporting tools to support business decisions At a minimum, you'll need: Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience 1 year of experience in transportation or logistics It'd be great if you also have: 3 or more years of experience with Excel, specifically in the Transportation and Logistics space Strong problem-solving techniques, statistical analysis skills and the ability to create queries; solid data mining and development skills Ability to create solutions-based reports to improve operational efficiency and customer satisfaction Experience in preparing, importing and manipulating information in spreadsheets, databases and presentations; converting raw data into usable formats Experience with Microsoft Office (Access); ability to extract system data from SAP and utilize Excel/Access to develop reports Does this sound like you?
