HW Electronic Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design schematics and PCBs for satellite electronic systems (power subsystems, communications, control, etc.)
• Perform simulations, signal analysis, electrical and thermal integrity
• Participate in component selection in accordance with space standards (ECSS, MIL-STD, etc.)
• Collaborate in HW-SW system integration with other departments (software, systems, integration and testing)
• Prepare technical documentation in compliance with aerospace standards
• Support environmental test campaigns (EMC, vibration, thermal-vacuum, etc.)
• Collaborate with suppliers for the manufacturing and assembly of electronic boards
• Participate in design reviews (PDR, CDR) with clients or agencies (ESA, NASA, etc.)

Requirements

• Education :
• University degree in Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or similar
• A minimum of 8 years in electronic hardware design, preferably in high-reliability environments (aerospace, defense, automotive)
• Experience in multilayer PCB design, high-speed design, and environments with thermal or electromagnetic constraints
• Knowledge of ECSS, DO-254, IPC
• Soft Skills :

• Communication and technical writing skills
• Technology Stack :
• Electronic design tools (Altium Designer, Cadence, Mentor, etc.)

• Ability to work in a standard office environment and use a computer for extended periods
