- WHAT YOU NEED TO GET THE JOB DONE
- Ability to ski or ride single black diamond terrain in all but the most extreme conditions-requiring physical strength, balance, and endurance.
- PSIA/AASI Certification and a commitment to continuous learning through workshops and personal development.
- 6 months to 1 year of relevant experience in instruction, coaching, or youth engagement.
- Strong interpersonal skills and emotional resilience to work with a wide range of personalities and age groups.
- Digital literacy for communication and scheduling tasks.
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- WORK SCHEDULE
- Regularly scheduled work shifts which may require being on-call. Schedules include working weekends, holidays, and some evenings.
- PHYSICAL & MENTAL WORKING CONDITIONS
- Work outdoors in extreme weather (cold, wind, sun, snow) for extended periods.
- Must be able to: Walk in ski/snowboard boots on slippery, uneven terrain
- Lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Stand, bend, kneel, and move actively for long periods
- Perform repetitive physical motions (bending, kneeling, reaching)
- High-volume days and guest interactions may lead to mental fatigue and emotional stress-you'll need strong coping strategies and a positive mindset.
