Ads is one of the ways Truecaller monetizes the app, and thus holds a critical role in driving Truecaller revenues. Truecaller is one of the largest standalone publishers in India and is growing quickly in international markets globally. Responsible for - Driving revenue growth for Truecaller by building ads solutions and selling our ads offerings to our advertising partners globally. We work at a planetary scale, serving billions of ad impressions daily. This is serious performance engineering! Truecaller has more than 500 million users globally, and our products need to run flawlessly on all of them. We are looking for a Product Manager to own our Programmatic Ads Monetization stack end-to-end. This is a high-ownership, high-agency role at the heart of how Truecaller makes money - touching everything across the core ads platform from SDK on the device to the server-side in the back-end, supply strategy, and demand partnerships strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Own the Programmatic charter end-to-end
  • Drive the product roadmap for programmatic monetization for Truecaller
  • Define and execute the strategy for how our supply is structured, packaged, and exposed to programmatic demand
  • Work closely with Engineering to ship reliable, low-latency systems at billions-of-requests scale
  • Drive yield and revenue growth
  • Improve eCPMs, fill rates, and overall yield through smarter auction design, floor pricing, and supply-demand matching
  • Build meaningful segmentation across users, placements, and contexts to improve user relevance, ad request efficiency and overall yield
  • Identify and unlock new programmatic revenue streams
  • Own the Demand Partner strategy
  • Drive the product roadmap that manages a large portfolio of programmatic partners across oRTB, SDK, Open Bidding at massive scale
  • Build a healthier supply-demand equation - shape the right traffic to the right partners with the right signals
  • Continuously evaluate the partner mix and rationalize where needed
  • Experimentation and problem solving
  • Design and run experiments end-to-end with rigor on hypothesis, measurement, and rollout
  • Dive into ambiguous problems - auction dynamics, bid floor strategy, latency trade-offs, supply quality - and structure them into shippable bets
  • Cross-functional leadership
  • Work closely with Engineering, Data Science, Analytics, Partnerships, Cross-functional PM teams to align on priorities and unblock execution
  • Communicate clearly with senior leadership on strategy, trade-offs, and outcomes
  • What you bring in:
  • 4 to 5 years of product management experience, with prior programmatic product experience strongly preferred (publisher side a plus)
  • Deep understanding of the programmatic ecosystem - Bidding, oRTB, header bidding, Open Bidding, SDK mediation, and the dynamics of modern auction design
  • Ad-tech fluency - comfortable in building under constraints of latency, caching, SDK behaviors, server-side architecture
  • Strong analytical chops - SQL proficiency and the ability to dig into data yourself rather than waiting for a dashboard
  • High bias for action, high ownership, and a "get things done" attitude in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
  • Strategic thinking paired with willingness to roll up sleeves on the smallest details
