Senior Mechanical Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical engineering scope of major projects from equipment design and selection through commissioning
• Provide technical expertise to troubleshoot and optimize mechanical systems during startup
• Ensure installations meet design, safety, and regulatory standards, lead equipment inspections
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance (PM) plans and reliability standards
• Collaborate with RTO (Ready to Operate) team and cross-functional partners to deliver project milestones
• Train maintenance teams and prepare technical documentation, manuals, and reports
• Stay current on mechanical engineering trends and integrate best practices

Requirements

• Bachelor's or master's degree in mechanical engineering or related field
• Minimum 5 years of experienced in project engineering or maintenance leadership
• Proven experience leading mechanical scopes in large-scale CAPEX projects and commissioning
• Strong background in developing preventive maintenance strategies
• Familiarity with food manufacturing standards (GMP, HACCP) is a plus
• Fluent in English and Thai, both written and spoken
• Strong problem-solver with deep technical and analytical skills
• Effective communicator with the ability to train, coach, and influence across teams
• Detail-oriented, highly organized, and adaptable to new technologies
• Team player who collaborates effectively with engineers, technicians, and contractors
