About the role
Responsible for leading and executing global/regional suppliers and operational issues, including but not limited to ECR processing, contracts management, coordination of relationship between the project team, vehicle line team and the supplier throughout the vehicle development process. Responsibilities
- Achieve Multi Year Plan targets (Regional / Global Business Plan, Supplier status, goal posting / Benchmarking initiatives).
- Manage supplier readiness/relationships.
- Development and Execution of Global Strategy - Business over Time.
- Top supplier negotiations (Business plan & Data pack development).
- Lead Sourcing Packages - Global / Complex Packages
- Develop sourcing strategy
- Manage Pipeline Globally
- Request for quoting / bid analysis
- Negotiation and resolution of commercial open issues.
- Lead the development of the Presentations
- Secure Agenda time in Regions for sourcing
- Lead Special Assignments (Regional and/or Globally).
- Communicate Regional and Global Supplier Issues.
- Knowledge of Global supply base (Strengths / Weaknesses).
- Manage commodity Issues (price increases, cost creep, PNOCs, Critical Capacity, supplier Risk mitigation).
- Support Commercial and Technical activities (BTAB -Business Transfer Approval Board - , Cost reduction workshops, Supply chain initiatives, Brand Strategy/Content optimization/new technology development).
- Organize supplier tooling kick-off meetings and monthly reviews.
- ECRs processing, contracts management.
