Get to Know the Team The Central Merchant team oversees, shapes, and grows the merchant business in Grab Singapore. We partner with restaurants and businesses to help them grow their customer base, increase sales, and succeed both online and offline. Get to Know the Role You will help restaurants adopt Grab's suite of business solutions designed to increase revenue, improve customer engagement, and streamline daily operations. As Grab continues to expand its merchant ecosystem, you will play a key role in helping merchants identify growth opportunities through a broader suite of business solutions across both online and offline channels. These solutions include: Table reservations QR ordering and table management solutions Loyalty and customer engagement tools Digital payment solutions Advertising and promotional solutions Customer insights and CRM tools You will work directly with restaurant owners and key decision-makers, helping them identify opportunities to grow their business through Grab's ecosystem and recommending suitable solutions to support their commercial goals. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys hunting for new business, building relationships, solving merchant challenges, and making a direct impact on business growth. This role reports to the Manager, Merchant Sales and is based onsite at Grab Singapore. The Critical Tasks You Will Perform Identify and acquire new restaurant partners through cold calling, networking, referrals, field prospecting, and face-to-face meetings Build and manage a strong pipeline of sales opportunities with disciplined CRM and pipeline management Understand merchants' business challenges and growth priorities, and recommend suitable Grab solutions to support their growth Conduct sales presentations, negotiations, and contract discussions with business owners and key decision-makers Build long-term relationships with merchants and identify future growth opportunities across Grab's ecosystem Work closely with Operations, Marketing, and Account Management teams to ensure successful onboarding and adoption of Grab solutions Contribute ideas and initiatives to improve sales processes, team effectiveness, and overall business performance, team effectiveness, and overall business performance What Essential Skills You Will Need At least 3 years of experience in B2B sales, business development, merchant acquisition, or other client-facing commercial roles Proven experience in prospecting, hunting, and acquiring new business opportunities Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage business owners and decision-makers Ability to understand merchant needs and recommend suitable business solutions Comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment with a strong sense of ownership Life at Grab We care about your well-being at Grab, here are some of the global benefits we offer: We have your back with Term Life Insurance and comprehensive Medical Insurance.
