As large language models (LLMs) become the go-to source for recommendations - we help brands understand exactly what AI is saying about them, where they stand against competitors, and how to show up more often in AI-powered answers. Our platform turns black-box AI behavior into actionable insights, so marketing teams can make faster, smarter decisions that drive growth. Founded by leaders who helped scale The Trade Desk into the world's leading ad tech platform, we bring deep expertise in digital advertising, data, and high-growth environments. Now, we're pioneering a new category at the intersection of AI, SEO, and brand strategy. We raised a $15M Series A led by Felicis Ventures, with support from Eniac, NextView, Roger Ehrenberg, and leaders from OpenAI, Google, Meta, Uber, and more. This gives us the momentum to move faster and build the first enterprise-grade AI marketing suite. Backed by top-tier VC investors and trusted by forward-thinking brands, we have the resources to scale - but what really defines us is our culture. We move fast, think boldly, and believe the best ideas win regardless of title. If you're excited about shaping the future of how brands grow in the age of AI, you'll thrive here. Your Team You'll join Evertune's engineering team at a pivotal moment in the company's growth. We're a tight-knit, ambitious group building quickly at the frontier of AI and search, with teammates primarily based in New York and Seattle. We care deeply about craft, but we know great products are built through iteration - we value momentum, clear thinking, and people who turn ambiguity into product. As an early member of the team, you'll have a meaningful influence on what we build, how we build it, and how the engineering organization evolves as we scale. You must be based in the Seattle area and available to work in-office with the team 2-3x/week at our U District location. Your Role In this role, you'll build the backend systems that power our core product experience - from APIs and business logic to the data flows and integrations behind AI-native workflows. We're looking for a product-minded backend engineer who can translate complex requirements into clean, scalable services and help turn cutting-edge AI capabilities into reliable, intuitive software for customers. You'll contribute directly to core product development and partner closely with product, design, and engineering to build systems that are thoughtful, performant, and built for iteration. This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys owning backend problems end to end, thrives in ambiguity, and is excited to help define what great AI-native product development looks like from the backend out. You should be excited by AI-native product experiences, energized by ambiguity, and already heavily using AI tools and LLMs in your own workflow to operate with greater leverage.
