MSS Security is seeking an experience and professional Site Manager to manage a team at a mining site in Mount Isa . This full-time leadership role is responsible for the overall management, performance, and delivery of security services across the site, ensuring the highest standards of safety, compliance, and customer service. This position requires the successful candidate to reside in Mount Isa or be willing to relocate . MSS Security offers a relocation package, including paid flights and two weeks of paid accommodation to support your transition.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the site security team to ensure safe, compliant, and professional service delivery.
• Manage client relationships and act as the primary point of contact for all site security operations.
• Oversee daily security activities, including access control, incident management, emergency response, and compliance requirements.
• Coordinate workforce planning, including rostering, recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance management.
• Monitor contract performance through reporting, audits, investigations, and continuous operational improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Full Australian working rights.
• Current QLD Security Licence (Unarmed Security Officer minimum).
• Current First Aid and CPR Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
• Current Queensland Driver's Licence.
• Prior management/leadership experience (background in security and/or mining is advantageous)
• Availability to work a 24/7 roster
• Master Licence: 41299
