We are looking for a junior-mid Art Director to join the Microsoft EMEA Creative Services Program, supporting the creation of high-quality, scalable creative across campaigns, content, and experiences. This role combines art direction skills with strong design execution, with a strong focus on turning business-driven briefs into compelling creative solutions ensuring all outputs are visually compelling, consistent, and fully aligned with Microsoft brand guidelines and standards.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to creative ideation, developing concepts and visual approaches that respond to strategic and business briefs
- Translate creative briefs into clear layouts, visual systems, and production-ready assets
- Deliver high-quality design and visual execution across digital, social, and event assets
- Ensure all outputs are on-brand, consistent, and compliant with Microsoft guidelines and accessibility standards
- Support adaptation of global concepts for local markets while maintaining consistency
- Review and refine designs to ensure clarity, quality, and brand alignment
- Collaborate closely with Designers, Copywriters, and Project Teams to deliver integrated work
Requirements
- Strong portfolio showing design craft and foundational art direction skills
- Ability to interpret business briefs and translate them into engaging creative solutions
- Experience working within established brand guidelines or design systems
- Proficiency in tools such as Adobe Creative Suite and Figma
- Understanding of digital formats, layout, and motion principles
- High attention to detail and ability to work in structured, process-driven environments
- Proficiency in Generative AI Tools, interest in emerging technologies
- Bonus: proficiency in motion design, illustration or 3D
