About the role
Third Bridge is looking for a Commercial Analytics & Data Quality Specialist to join our Commercial Analytics Centre of Excellence, based in Mumbai. This is an operationally critical role at the heart of our commercial data function, responsible for ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of data across our commercial systems and reporting outputs. This is a role for someone methodical, confident, proactive, and someone who takes pride in the quality of their work and is not afraid to hold others accountable to the same standard.
Responsibilities
- Data Quality & System Hygiene
- Root Cause Diagnosis & Process Improvement
- You will go beyond fixing individual errors to understand why they are happening. You will work with Commercial Operations and system owners to simplify or restructure workflows where needed.
- Stakeholder Coaching & Accountability
- You will be the day-to-day point of contact for commercial teams on data input standards. This means coaching Sales and AM teams on correct Salesforce usage, by building clear reference guides and SOPs. You will need to adapt your communication style across seniority levels and regional contexts.
- Reporting Support & Validation
- You will support the production of regular commercial reporting cadences by preparing, validating, and sense-checking datasets before they reach stakeholders.
- Cross-functional Coordination
- You will partner with Commercial Operations, Enablement, and central Analytics to ensure data issues are visible, prioritised, and resolved. You will work across regions and time zones, and contribute to the ongoing improvement of data input processes across the commercial organisation.
Requirements
- Experience & Background
- 4-6 years in a data operations, sales operations, CRM management, or commercial analytics role
- Experience working within a global organisation, collaborating with stakeholders across multiple regions and time zones
- Demonstrated ability to engage effectively across seniority levels, from frontline sales teams to senior commercial leadership
- Strong working knowledge of Salesforce, including data structures, field-level hygiene, and common input failure modes
- Proven ability to diagnose root causes of data quality issues and translate findings into actionable process improvements
- Experience coaching or holding non-technical stakeholders accountable to data standards
- Skills & Attributes
- Close attention to detail with a structured, methodical approach to problem-solving
- Strong spoken and written communication skills in English; able to produce clear SOPs and reference documentation
- Proficient in Excel or Google Sheets for data validation and reconciliation work
- Power BI experience preferred or familiarity with other BI tools (e.g. Looker, Tableau). We will support skill development in this area
- Basic SQL knowledge is a plus; we provide coaching and training for the right candidate who is motivated to develop technically
