Responsibilities
- Oversee all phases of retail and outlet store construction projects, from schematic design through final completion, ensuring cost-effective and timely delivery.
- Review construction drawings and collaborate with internal teams, external partners, and vendors to ensure alignment with company standards and project goals.
- Evaluate landlord criteria and lease construction requirements, communicating key details to stakeholders.
- Prepare and manage project schedules and construction estimates based on design development drawings.
- Coordinate preconstruction activities, including permits, utility setup, and project communications.
- Support the bid process: review proposals, assist with negotiations, and ensure all bids meet budget and quality expectations.
- Track project costs, review and approve invoices, and maintain accurate project accounting records.
- Work closely with Retail Operations and IT to ensure all operational needs (registers, security, etc.) are addressed before store turnover.
- Manage construction progress, monitor quality, and ensure timely completion of punchlists and turnover activities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, consultants, designers, and internal teams.
- Ensure owner-furnished materials are ordered and delivered according to schedule.
- Maintain organized project files (digital and hardcopy) and ensure all financial closeout documents are complete.
- Contribute to a positive team culture and support the development of junior team members as appropriate.
- You'll Need to Have:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3-6 years of experience in retail construction, store planning, or a similar environment.
- Experience supporting or managing multiple projects with aggressive timelines.
- Familiarity with real estate expansion programs is a plus.

- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to provide value engineering input during design phases.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and project management software (e.g., Procore).
- Initiative and ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
