Cloudflare is looking for a Director of Strategic Finance & Investor Relations to serve as a key leader on our Investor Relations team and a trusted partner to the CFO, CEO, and senior leadership. This role reports to the VP of Strategic Finance, Treasury, Deal Desk, & Investor Relations and is the engine room of how Cloudflare tells its financial story to the public markets - translating one of the most differentiated technology platforms in the world into a clear, credible, and compelling investment narrative. You will own the end-to-end quarterly earnings cycle, drive our long-term financial model and consensus discipline, partner directly with the CFO and senior leadership on guidance, and lead the analytical and communications work behind every major investor and analyst touchpoint - quarterly calls, conferences, our annual Investor Day, and ad-hoc executive projects. You will be the connective tissue between Finance, Accounting, Legal, Communications, Product, Sales, and the executive team, and the person who makes sure every number, every claim, and every word we put in front of Wall Street is accurate. This is a high-visibility, high-ownership role on a very lean IR team. We move fast, we ship work that goes directly to the CEO, CFO, Board, and public markets, and we hold ourselves to an exceptionally high bar on accuracy - and we are AI-native in how we work, treating modern tooling as a force multiplier on insight, productivity, and rigor.

Responsibilities

• As the Director, Strategic Finance & Investor Relations, you will be the operational and analytical lead for Cloudflare's engagement with the public markets. Your primary responsibilities will include:
• Quarterly earnings and consensus management
• Own the end-to-end quarterly earnings process: press release, supplemental financial information, prepared remarks (CEO and CFO scripts), Q&A prep, investor deck, and supporting validation work.
• Partner with the CFO and senior leadership to develop the company's guidance (including share count forecasting) and own the executive-facing materials that frame guidance decisions, sensitivity ranges, and the trade-offs in how we communicate them.
• Lead the Q&A preparation process - anticipated questions, suggested answers, peer transcript triangulation, key stats and proof points, and live-call backup material.
• Lead the post-earnings analyst callback program, including coordinating callbacks with ~30 sell-side analysts across CEO and CFO sessions.
