To learn more about the NUS Business School, please visit https://bschool.nus.edu.sg/ Job Description As part of the MSc Student Life team supporting our Masters programmes, this role will play a pivotal role in cultivating a positive, transformational, inclusive, and holistic student experience, outside of the classroom. The role will collaborate closely with student leaders, faculty, alumni, and internal partners to build a vibrant, supportive, and globally diverse learning community that inspires leadership growth, personal development, and lifelong networks. Student Life, Community Building and Student Club Design, implement, and support student life initiatives that foster interaction, belonging, and a strong sense of community across diverse student cohorts. Work closely with, collaborate with, and provide day-to-day guidance to student leaders in the student club, inspiring and supporting them in their leadership journey. Serve as a motivator, mentor, and facilitator and empower student leaders to develop their potential, lead confidently, and contribute meaningfully to the student body. Collaborate with student clubs and student leaders to conceptualise, plan, and execute engaging programmes, events, and community-building initiatives. Promote diversity, inclusion, and intercultural appreciation, building a community that celebrates differences and nurtures lifelong networks. Provide pastoral care, general counselling, and well-being support to students. Cross-Programme Collaboration, Innovation and Engagement Develop and lead cross-MSc programmes initiatives, activities, and signature events to strengthen cohesion and collaboration across Masters programmes. Work collaboratively with other MSc Programme teams to develop aligned student life initiatives and a unified student experience. Take a proactive role in innovating and creating new ideas for student life programmes, ensuring activities remain relevant, meaningful, and engaging. Events and Signature Experiences Lead in the planning and execution of office-led events including Orientation programmes, Commencement programmes, end-of-semester celebrations. Guide student leaders and actively support event management, ensuring smooth execution while fostering learning opportunities for student organisers. Conduct administrative briefings, onboarding sessions, and student club information sessions for students. Partner with internal and external stakeholders to deliver impactful student engagement opportunities. Stakeholder Engagement, Communications and Service Excellence Build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Deliver exceptional service excellence and uphold high standards of professionalism, responsiveness, and student-centric support. Contribute to social media outreach to enhance visibility and engagement among current students, prospective students, and alumni. Operations, Governance and Financial Management Guide student leaders on funding guidelines, work planning, budget planning, and responsible financial management for student events and activities. Maintain, refine and automate operational processes, including SOP documentation and workflow improvements. Support resource planning, budget tracking, and reporting for events and student life initiatives. Carry out any additional duties assigned by the Director and Senior Associate Director to support the goals of the MSc Programmes office.
