Senior Business Manager-Network Product and Platform Analytics Summary: As a Senior Manager, Business Analysis at Capital One, you will apply your strategic and analytical skills to major company challenges. This role sits within the Discover Network Platforms & Products (NPP) team. As the Senior Manager for NPP Analytics you will sit at the intersection of data science, product strategy, and platform operations. You will lead the charge in transforming network data into actionable, AI-enabled insights that drive the evolution of our global payment network. Operating within the Platform Ops Tower, you will partner with world-class product and engineering teams. If you are a strategic thinker who thrives on using data to solve complex financial architecture problems and design proactive business strategies and has prior experience in the Payments, FinTech, or Network ecosystem (specifically understanding authorization, clearing, and settlement flows) along with exposure to and practical experience leveraging generative AI tools and LLMs (e.g., for code generation, data synthesis, or workflow automation) to accelerate the creation of analytical assets, this role is for you. General Responsibilities: Strategic Platform Leadership : Develop data-driven analytical assets and predictive strategies that drive the growth, reliability, and competitive success of the Global Payment Network (GPN) platforms amidst shifting market and regulatory landscapes. Business & Operational Ownership : Maintain an ownership mindset for the data integrity and analytical health of assigned platform domains. Lead strategic operational planning with a rolling 1-to-6-month horizon. Leadership: May manage and develop a team of analysts. Coaching and mentoring associates throughout the organization with a goal of developing and retaining talent at Capital One Product: Develop and partner with product to implement new product and feature strategies across network products and platforms; lead product level modeling/analytics/hypothesis testing; may lead development of 1-2 data products or contribute to data product strategy for GPN Execution: Coordinate across Network product teams to translate business intent into technical requirements for analytical assets. Oversee multiple concurrent data projects, ensuring alignment with the broader network analytics strategy. Partnership: Work closely with colleagues across Capital One including: Product, Tech, Sales, Operations, Finance and others to drive improvement in quality, volume, service, and profitability Strategic & analytic orientation: Demonstrate a proven track record of complex problem-solving using advanced analytics. Conceptual thinking must be paired with strong quantitative skills, as success in this role relies on rigorous data analysis and platform metrics management.
