- Duties include but are not limited to:
- Work with the Principal Investigator and staff to conduct research projects, including legal and policy research on issues relevant to international criminal law (ICL) and international humanitarian law (IHL);
- Support ACA with the organization of convenings of varying sizes, including study visits for Ukrainian stakeholders, conferences, and speaker events. This will involve coordination of content and programs with participants and external partners, development of messaging, and overseeing planning and logistics;

- The position is open to recently graduated individuals with a JD or LLM degree and 0-3 years of work experience;
- Excellent legal research and writing skills and proven ability to write for diverse audiences are required;
- Exceptional organization and project management skills are required;
- Applicants must be able to work well as part of a small team dynamic and operate professionally in interactions with a range of stakeholders, including student RAs and international actors;
- Applicants must be based in the D.C. area or prepared to relocate to the D.C. area for the position, although there is considerable flexibility for remote work from outside of D.C., depending on the final terms of the Fellowship;
- Demonstrated interest in international law, international humanitarian law, international criminal law, or other related fields is required; work experience in these fields is strongly preferred;
