The department has an immediate opening as a Correctional Program Supervisor. This role provides leadership and operational oversight within a correctional environment, directing staff during assigned shifts and ensuring the effective delivery of case planning and program services. The supervisor is also responsible for maintaining strict adherence to established safety protocols, operational procedures, and regulatory standards. This is a full-time, exempt, on-site position. Interviews will begin the week of July 6th, 2026, for those selected to move forward in the hiring process. Pay & Benefits Anoka County Salary Schedule Grade 36: $85,363.20 to $119,496.00 annually ($41.04 to $57.47 per hour). 24 days of paid flexible time off and up to 12.5 paid holidays. Work Location This position will work at Anoka County Secure Program facility, located at 7545 4th Avenue, Lino Lakes, MN 55014. Expected work hours are Monday - Friday, 12:00-8:00pm, with one weekend shift per month. Job Duties and Responsibilities These examples are not all inclusive and are intended to be illustrative of primary responsibilities of an Anoka County Supervisor, Corrections Programs. Provide work direction during operational shifts to staff on duty. Oversee and/or facilitate the application and implementation of case plans and programs during operational hours. Provide Case Management services and determine plans for participants according to specific program operating principles. Supervise, train and review employee performance. Provide leadership, coaching, review timesheets, and communicate to a subordinate group as assigned. Enforce policies and procedures to ensure public safety or the safety and security of residents and employees in the facility. Assist the managers to ensure full compliance with all licensing and PREA standards. Participate in quality control audits of critical safety and security policies. Quality control includes, but is not limited to, well-being checks, head counts, and emergency procedures. Assist the manager of the program to conduct investigations that may result in employee disciplinary action. Assist with the development and facilitate staff training for new and existing staff. Acts as a primary liaison with system partners including Anoka County Jail, courts, attorneys, probation officers, and community providers. Share on-call, weekend, and overnight coverage duties on a regularly scheduled rotation with other supervisory staff. Qualifications and Requirements: Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Needed Requires a Bachelor's degree and at least 3 years (2,080 annual hours) of job-related experience. In lieu of the required education, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted on a year-for-year basis. Must be 21 years of age or older by date of hire. Successfully pass driver's license background check. Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Needed Bachelor's degree or higher in Behavioral Science or closely related field. Job-related experience with providing Correctional Services to residents. Job-related experience with Offender Change Principals and effective interventions. Best practices regarding operations and safety of a residential facility. Knowledge of offender rehabilitation best practices. Ability to analyze and solve problems.
