Job Title Store Presentation Communications Coordinator Contract End Date 2027-09-03 About This Role: Workplace Arrangements: This role will follow a hybrid remote/onsite schedule. Applicants for this role can expect to work on-site from our Ottawa Head Office, on Walkley Road 2 days a week.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and maintain the Hot Topics internal communications website, ensuring timely, accurate, and engaging weekly merchandising updates for stores.
• Execute the creation and maintenance of store layouts in Illustrator to support merchandising and store presentation requirements.
• Develop visual materials and mock-ups using Adobe Suites to support and execute monthly Softgoods, Hardgoods, and Grocery MKIPs and related initiatives.
• Maintain and organize the Content Management System for store layouts and other merchandising projects to support accessibility and consistency.
• Deliver readership and engagement reports through BI tools to identify communication trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
• Coordinate and maintain calendars, timelines, and approvals for MKIPs, drawing reviews, translations, and Hot Topics communications.

Requirements

• Minimum High School Diploma
• 1-3 years of relevant work experience and knowledge of retail business processes
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (MS Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) and AS400/Profound
• Intermediate experience with Adobe suite (Dreamweaver, Illustrator, Photoshop)
• Experience using Chat GPT or AI systems to aid creating visual assets
• Ability to prioritize tasks, and work independently
• High attention to detail, excellent organizational skills and trouble-shooting skills
• Ability to communicate virtually on a regular basis, and participate in calls via MS Teams
• Excellent communication skills
• Assets You May Have:
• HTML website/coding experience
• Experience using Sketchup or 3D programs
• Visual Merchandising experience

• $45,600.00 - $68,500.00
