This is a varied and investigative role focused on delivering high-quality claims investigations across a range of motor and liability cases. Working on a flexible, case-by-case basis, you will conduct investigations, gather and evaluate evidence, obtain witness statements, and produce detailed reports to support informed claims decisions. A strong background in motor claims investigations is essential, whilst experience within Employers' Liability and Public Liability investigations would be highly advantageous. You will play a key role in managing investigations from instruction through to conclusion, handling both straightforward and more complex cases. Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills and a proactive approach are essential. With experience in claims investigations, you will identify inconsistencies and potential fraud indicators, follow appropriate investigation procedures, and ensure evidence is gathered, preserved and recorded accurately. You will conduct interviews with policyholders, witnesses and other relevant parties, prepare CPR-compliant statements, and produce detailed reports within agreed service levels. The skills you will have when you apply: Proven experience in motor claims investigations. Knowledge of Employers' Liability and Public Liability investigations would be advantageous. Strong understanding of current case law, statutes and legal liability. Understanding of the principle of indemnity and its application. Excellent investigation skills and the ability to gather, preserve and evaluate evidence. Experience producing CPR-compliant witness statements and detailed investigation reports. Ability to identify suspicious activity and follow appropriate fraud prevention procedures. Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage workload effectively. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Good IT skills, including email and Microsoft Word. Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle. Working Arrangements We offer flexible engagement options, with opportunities available via PAYE or PSC depending on individual circumstances and the nature of the role. You will have the flexibility to manage your own workload and coverage areas while supporting a varied range of investigations across the UK.
