Field Service Technician (Automation)

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of AGVs & PSs
• Level 1 Technical Support & Repairs: Diagnose and resolve AGV/PS hardware, software, and network-related issues after completion of installation, testing & commissioning.
• Adhere to client workplace regulations and safety protocols while working in sensitive environments.
• Backfill support on break fix if assigned on your rotation basis.

Requirements

• Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Computer Engineering or other related fields
• Familiarity in mechanical/electrical hardware installation, setup and troubleshooting
• Strong working knowledge and understanding of electrical, mechanical, and automation systems used in AGV/PS technology.
• Proficiency in using computers and basic application ssuch as MS Word, Excel, Power point and MS Project.
• Linux background knowledge will be preferred
• Chinese Speaking Candidate preferred as will be communicate with project team.
• Other information:
• Working location: Required to roam around customer sites (mainly located in West Singapore)
• Working hours: 8.30am to 6pm (Monday to Friday)
• Overtime: may require to work OT occasionally
• Able to work at height (max 8 meters) in warehouse environment (with safety harness)

Job Summary: Project Engineer is responsible for supporting the deployment, operation, and maintenance of Automated Guided Vehicle (AGV) systems/4-way Shuttle pallet system (PS). This role works closely with project teams, contractors, and client stakeholders to ensure reliable system performance, safe operations, and seamless integration with Customers. A strong focus is placed on safety compliance, operational continuity, and effective collaboration with Customer's Operation team.
