About the role

The FP&A Analyst acts as a critical business partner to Unity China business, performing complex financial planning, analysis and forecast to enable the development of business strategy, setting clear targets for the organization and ensuring compliance with financial policies and standards.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Accounting team on month end closing and make sure financial data is accurate.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for commercial operations, with a focus on pipeline, backlog, revenue, and GP tracking.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Operation, Legal, Accounting, Tax to drive business performance and improve financial outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with both PRC GAAP and US GAAP, and align financial practices with corporate policies.
  • Proactively identify improvement opportunities and drive automation and efficiency in financial processes.
  • Support key initiatives such as new ERP implementation, process optimization, and system enhancement.
  • Support internal and external audit actions.
  • Provide ad-hoc analysis and support management decision-making.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting,Finance, or another quantitative field.
  • Minimum requirement of 4 years of finance working experience, and prefer to have 3 years of Big 4 and 2 years in commercial finance /FP&A experience.
  • Proficient in Advanced Excel.
  • Fluent in both English and Mandarin.
  • Solid understanding of PRC GAAP and US GAAP.
  • Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong proficiency in financial modeling, analysis, and reporting.
