About the role
Reporting into the Operations team, you will play a critical role in planning and coordinating repair and manufacturing workflows while supporting customer service, inventory management, and operational administration activities. Responsibilities
- Coordinate production and repair schedules to meet customer and operational requirements
- Manage repair customer RFQs, quotes, change orders, and job progress from start to finish
- Monitor MRP actions, inventory levels, backorders, and service requirements
- Escalate material shortages and supply issues proactively across the business
- Support capacity and labour planning activities for manufacturing work centres
- Maintain accurate ERP, SharePoint, and operational system data
- Create and manage components and parts in collaboration with internal stakeholders
- Prepare operational job packs and support documentation
- Investigate planning and schedule adherence issues and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
- Support administrative activities including payroll coordination, training records, and uniforms
- Build strong relationships with internal and external customers to deliver high service levels
- About You
- You are a proactive and detail-oriented planner who enjoys working in a fast-paced operational environment. You thrive on balancing multiple priorities while maintaining strong communication and customer service standards.
- You will also bring:
- Minimum 3 years' experience in production planning or scheduling using ERP/MRP systems
- Experience within manufacturing, mining, engineering, or repair environments
- Strong understanding of inventory control, planning processes, and operational workflows
- Experience using ERP systems such as SAP, Pronto, or similar
- Strong Microsoft Excel capability including pivot tables, filtering, lookups, and reporting
- Excellent organisational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with a broad range of stakeholders
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities
