We're seeking a Financial controller to replace a maternity leave for a duration of 6 to 8 months and join a finance team of five members.

Responsibilities

• Perform monthly reviews of Trial Balances (TBs) and General Ledger (GL) accounts to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with accounting standard
• Prepare and submit monthly financial reporting packs to the UK finance team within agreed deadlines (2nd and 4th working day of the month)
• Conduct monthly variance analysis, investigating and explaining significant movements against budget, forecast, and prior periods
• Execute and document monthly and quarterly SOX controls to ensure compliance with internal control requirements
• Perform revenue reconciliations and ensure revenue recognition is accurate and compliant with company policies
• Review customer invoices for accuracy and completeness, resolving discrepancies where required
• Monitor and review Work in Process (WIP) balances to ensure correct accounting treatment and timely billing
• What we want from you:
• A Bachelor or Master degree in Finance
• +5 years experience in accounting and preferable LuxGaap
• Language: English - French or German will be a plus
