JOB SUMMARY/JOB DUTIES: Wear personal protective equipment Follow health and safety standards Inspect all incoming tomatoes and identify and remove all foreign materials Inspect sorting tables and related equipment for proper operation, set up and maintenance Maintain a clean workstation and production floor EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: High School diploma or equivalent PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Lift up to 5 0-pound buckets of material Physical dexterity Shovel, wrap hoses, scrub and general housekeeping Push, pull, bend, scoop, climb stairs , twist, squat and stand for long periods of time WORK ENVIRONMENT: Seasonal / Temporary - July through October timeframe Indoor food processing plant environment - hot, humid and noisy Seven -days per week (Monday through Sunday) - must be able to work any shift (6am to 2pm, 2pm to 10pm, 10pm to 6am) Overtime when needed and on call as well as alternate schedules Pay $20.26+/HR *************************************************************************************************** DESCRIPCIÓN DE L TRABAJO - español RESUMEN DE EMPLEO/DEBERES LABORALES: Usar equipo de protección personal Seguir las normas de salud y seguridad Inspeccion ar todos los tomates e identifiqu e y retir ar todos los materiales extranjeros Inspeccion ar las mesas de clasificación y los equipos relacionados para un correcto funcionamiento, configuración y mantenimiento Mantener la estación de trabajo y piso de producción limpios EDUCACIÓN/EXPERIENCIA: Diploma de Escuela Secundaria o REQUISITOS FÍSICOS equivalentes: Levantar hasta 50 libras de material Destreza física Pal ear , envolver mangueras, matorral y limpieza general Empujar, tirar , inclinarse , recoger , sub ir escalera s , gir ar , ponerse de cuclillas y de pie durante largos períodos de tiempo ENTORNO DE TRABAJO: Estacional / Temporal - Período de tiempo de julio a octubre Ambiente vegetal de procesamiento de alimentos en interiores - caliente, húmedo y ruidoso Siete días a la semana (de lunes a domingo) - deben poder trabajar cualquier turno (de 6am a 2pm, 2pm a 10pm, 10pm a 6am) Horas extras cuando sea necesario y de guardia, así como horarios alternativos Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training.
