About the role
As a Investigative Analyst at the GS-1805-13, you will be part of Office of the Inspector General, Office of Personnel Management. If selected, you will conduct and coordinate investigative analyses involving healthcare, retirement, and program data to identify fraud, waste, abuse, and improper activity; develop investigative leads and analytical findings; and support criminal, civil, and administrative investigations. For the GS13: You must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-12 level in the Federal service (or equivalent) performing all of the following: Conducting criminal or civil investigations involving the collection, analysis, and evaluation of evidence, records, and investigative finding; and Preparing written analytical products such as reports, briefings, spreadsheets, summaries, or presentations to communicate investigative findings or recommendations to investigators, attorneys, managers, or other stakeholders; and Coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to obtain, review, and evaluate information supporting investigations and program integrity reviews; and Analyzing data to identify patterns and indicators of fraudulent or improper activity Merit promotion applicants must meet time-in-grade requirement as defined in 5 CFR 300, Subpart F. One year at the GS-12 grade level is required to meet the time-in-grade requirements for the GS 13 level. You must meet all qualification and eligibility requirements within 30 days of the closing date of this announcement.
