Reporting Matrix: The role will report to the National Sales Manager and will have around 4-5 direct reportees, with a larger team of 1000+ members down the line. Job Description: Drive EMI business growth and market share in the assigned city/region Build and expand merchant EMI acceptance network (offline + online) Ensure strong visibility and adoption of EMI solutions across merchant outlets Identify, recruit, and manage a high-performing sales team to drive EMI penetration Coach and mentor team members to improve productivity, capability, and execution Plan market coverage, span, and geography allocation for City Managers / ASMs / TLs / FSEs Design and communicate clear targets and execution plans to minimize gaps in delivery Drive merchant onboarding for EMI products (card EMI, no-cost EMI, device financing, etc.) Monitor key business metrics: activation, conversion, EMI usage, and merchant productivity Conduct audits and validations on merchant onboarding and sales quality Ensure consistent on-ground presence of team for acquisition and usage growth Collaborate with internal teams (Product, Risk, Ops) to improve EMI offerings and processes Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, large merchants, and channel partners Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory guidelines Key Requirements: Proven experience in EMI / lending / payments / financial services sales Strong understanding of merchant acquiring, consumer financing, and EMI products Experience in managing large on-ground sales teams and distribution networks Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building skills Ability to drive execution in a high-growth, target-driven environment Excellent stakeholder management and problem-solving skills Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned geography Strong networking and relationship-building capabilities
