Job Title : Senior Finance Systems Analyst Job Site: 3100 Hansen Way, Palo Alto, California 94304 Minimum Requirements : A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or a related field (or foreign equivalent) and five (5) years of experience in the job offered, as SAP FICO Functional Consultant, or a related occupation Job Duties : Overall responsibility is to work closely with business and IT teams to support all finance systems, understand and document the requirements, process flows, test proposed solutions for new initiatives and bridge the gap between controllers and IT implementation specialists. Support all Financial systems mainly SAP Finance and Controlling module (SAP FICO). The incumbent is responsible to ensure that IC invoices and payment take place without any system compliance issues for VAR, SHS to VAR, SAG to VAR and Vice Versa scenarios. Will be the gate keeper for all IC System and process issues from AC organization point of view. Define business requirements by working with finance and accounting controllers, analyze and document issues and/or requirements and contribute to cost effective solutions in the areas of finance and accounting by testing the solutions. Develop test scenarios, process flow, test plans & other documentation. Validate SAP finance data conversions, system enhancements & any development for financial and operational integrity. Guide the team on the overall design, testing and deployment of financial solutions especially in the areas of New General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), Bank (EBS) and Controlling modules include Cost Center Accounting (CCA), Internal Order (IO), Product costing (PC). Conducted gap analysis and process mapping issues are tracked through the smart sheet process. Conduct training to the accounting team region-wise on new process changes from the system end. Guide and support the team for seamless financial close. Hands-on experience in SAP with focus on ICC and other accounting integration topics. May telecommute from anywhere in the U.S. 20% Domestic travel throughout the U.S. Special Requirements: Must have experience and/or academic training with each of the following: 5 years of experience in the following: Solution Architect in SAP Financial Modules like New General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), Bank (EBS) and Controlling modules include Cost Center Accounting (CCA), Internal Order (IO), Product costing (PC); Responsible for Design, Configuration and Developed Functional Specifications for all Custom developments, worked on RICEF Objects with interface tools ALE, IDOC and Electronic Data Interface (EDI). 3 years of experience in Subject Matter expert in SAP Financial and Controlling (FI/CO) with Materials Management (MM) and Sales and Distribution (SD). 2 years of experience in Exposure to other finance Interface systems like CONCUR and VERTEX.
