PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Enterprise AV Architecture and Standards - Serve as the lead subject matter expert for enterprise AV architecture across SEC-supported environments. - Design end-to-end AV systems for conference rooms, collaboration spaces, and large event venues. - Define and enforce AV engineering standards, reference designs, and interoperability requirements across hardware, control systems, and conferencing platforms. - Present technical design decisions and implementation direction to Federal stakeholders for review and approval prior to execution. Unified Communications and Platform Integration - Lead integration of AV solutions with Microsoft Teams Rooms, Webex (as required by SEC ISS/PWS scope), and related unified communications services. - Architect AV-over-IP and network-aware AV designs that align with SEC LAN/WAN/WLAN and VoIP environments. - Partner with service desk, network, and operations teams to resolve escalated AV/VTC issues and prevent recurrence through permanent fixes. - Develop and maintain AV technical documentation, SOPs, and operational runbooks to support consistent delivery. Streaming, Events, and Media Engineering - Architect and optimize secure, high-quality, low-latency video streaming workflows for enterprise broadcasts and live events. - Provide technical leadership for AV/VTC execution of major SEC events at HQ and remote locations, including town halls and commission meetings. - Oversee live audio/video direction, recording, post-production editing, and webcast delivery quality. - Coordinate captioning and third-party accessibility support (for example, sign language services) to meet event requirements. Operations, Security, and Continuous Improvement - Oversee AV/VTC infrastructure lifecycle activities, including upgrades, modernization planning, and operational readiness validation. - Implement proactive monitoring, incident response support, and root-cause remediation for AV service reliability. - Ensure AV solutions comply with SEC change control practices and applicable cybersecurity/security requirements. - Track AV service performance trends and contribute recommendations to improve SLA outcomes and user experience. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Citizenship/Work Authorization: Must meet contract requirements. Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain SEC Public Trust (or higher if required). Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (for example, Information Technology, Computer Science, or Engineering).
