USNH Employees should apply within Workday through the Jobs Hub app Theatre and Dance Department in KSC is looking for 3 people to fill our Advance Technician adjunct staff positions. Positions are as follows: M3 "The Color of Our Lives" Lighting Technician M4 "Dance Concert" Video Technician M4 "Dance Concert" Lighting Technician Core functions may vary widely, and may include (but not limited to) be on duty for TAD performances, work to cover design/tech staff if ill/on vacation, work in the scene shop in labs or work calls on any needed technical items, scenic fabrication, painting, props, etc. Will require work with TAD design/Technical theatre student, and TAD Work Study students. Supervision of students may be required. The Technical Director for Theatre and Dance schedules all work and call dates/times. The core functions are to ensure excellent work on our productions. Work may occur during curtailed operation. Some maintenance and work area clean up are standard expectation. Workers must be able to lift 25 pounds comfortably. Duties/Responsibilities Technician's duties and responsibilities may vary widely according to TAD production needs. They may include: be on duty for TAD performances, available to assist with any/all production trouble-shooting. work to cover design/tech staff if ill/on vacation work in the scene shop in labs or work calls on any needed technical items, scenic fabrication, painting, props, etc. will require work with TAD design/Technical theatre student, and TAD Work Study students. Supervision of students may be required. All work is planned, and scheduled by The Theatre and Dance Technical Director (Craig Lindsay). Areas of concentration (100% time) may include to be "on duty" for TAD performance, work to cover design/tech staff if ill/on vacation, work in the scene shop in labs or work calls on any needed technical items, scenic fabrication, painting, props, and work with TAD design/Technical theatre student, and TAD Work Study students. Supervision of students as required.
