Pay Range $87,400.00-$120,200.00 Annual This is the base salary pay range that an applicant can expect to make upon hire. Pay within this range will vary based upon relevant experience, skills, and education among other factors. In addition, this position is eligible for an incentive bonus. The Big Box Key Account Manager is responsible for driving sales, profitability, and market share across the retail channel. This includes participating in the formulation of business strategies and tactics to drive performance with all of JM's home center partners. This role also requires extensive collaboration with internal teams including SIOP, customer service, finance, marketing, product management and JM leadership. In addition to the internal responsibilities, the Big Box Key Account Manager will consistently participate in customer activities including weekly engagements, line reviews, strategy meetings and annual events. This role also serves as a key advisor to the National Channel Leader and Big Box Channel Manager across the entirety of the business. Your Day-to-Day: Key contributor to Lowe's forecasting processes through engagement with all internal and external partners. Regular engagement with Lowe's inventory, replenishment, transportation, and logistics teams as well as JM's CS and SIOP teams. Manage and maintain Lowe's forecasting tools and provide monthly forecast information to JM partners. Ensure customer data/inputs are fully integrated into JM's financial forecasting and demand planning processes. Lead all Special-Order Sales initiatives for JM customers including The Lowe's PEA program. Manage, grow, and optimize Lowe's Special-Order and PEA Sales programs. Support all Big Box customers with their securement of large volume/PRO opportunities. Conduct weekly planning/sales meetings with customer PRO teams. Lead market visits/sales calls with PRO Account Representatives and downstream customers. Key participant in the preparation, strategy development and presentation of line reviews, annual business reviews, strategy meetings and customer events required. Drive optimal business performance by expertly interpreting cost, price, margin, and inventory data to develop recommendations for customers and JM business leaders. Deliver weekly/monthly/ad hoc financial report-outs to Big Box Channel Manager and National Channel Leader. Manage machine rental program for all Big Box customers in concert with Kinzler Construction Services. Manage and resolve deduction issues with all channel partners. Manage and effectively resolve customer complaints (quality, transportation, etc.) to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction. Lead customer training events including store walks and field/product training events. Perform ad hoc assignments from Big Box Channel Manager and other internal partners in support of the business. What You Bring to the Team: Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 5 years professional experience with 5 years in Sales, Account Management, Channel Management, or related disciplines. Experience in the building materials or construction industry preferred. Strong financial and analytical skills. Demonstrated selling and negotiating skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Competency with JM analytical tools. Strong forecasting skills and ability to collaborate with SIOP. Extensive knowledge of competitive and market pricing dynamics. Knowledge of JM and competitive products and applications. Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. Proven ability to present to high-level audiences, both internally and externally. Ability to interface at all levels of the organization, both internally and externally. Strong organizational and prioritization skills. Strong problem-solving and channel strategy development skills. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Moderate travel required to attend customer and/or industry events, conventions, and annual meetings. May be required to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 25 pounds.
