About the role

You will serve as a ELECTRONICS TECHNICIAN in the ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT (CODE 200) of SOUTHEAST REG MAINTENANCE CTR SERMC. GS-12: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience applying theoretical and practical knowledge to maintain and repair standard Naval Electronic Warfare and Signals Intelligence (SSEE) systems. Experience performing troubleshooting skills to successfully diagnose and repair standard system failures (CASREPs) that have already proven to be beyond the repair capabilities of the ship's crew (forces afloat). Experience conducting standard functional checkouts, assessments, and system qualifications at sea by strictly following established protocols. Experience independently generating accurate technical reports, formal correspondence, and maintenance logs that require minimal review or correction by leadership. Experience leading and advising to effectively guide and mentor junior technicians during routine Fleet Technical Support (FTS) visits, assessments, and inspections.
