Job Description: Maintenance Operator, 2nd Shift - North Aurora, IL At Pentair , you will work alongside passionate problem-solvers who are committed to the future of our planet. We have an opportunity for a Maintenance Operator to join our North Aurora, IL, team. You will develop and execute Machine Preventative Maintenance Schedules including predictive maintenance on all types of CNC, Injection Molding, Fabrication, Welding, Assembly, Testing, HVAC, and Facility equipment. You will: Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and PLC problems on machinery and equipment to determine the extent and method of repairs and/or replacement of worn or defective parts. Establish and document a troubleshooting process based on findings. Perform a wide variety of repairs and/or fabrications on various machines and production equipment such as: CNC, Injection Molding, Fabrication, Welding, Assembly, Testing, HVAC and Facility equipment. Determine root cause of maintenance issues. Suggest, execute and document necessary improvements. Root Cause Analysis training is a plus. Work from prints, schematics, drawings and sketches. Including electrical, hydraulic, air, plumbing and structural. Work with CMMS system to manage Maintenance work order requests, PM's and order replacement parts and materials to maintain inventory. Key Qualifications: Ability to diagnose and fix CNC mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, PLC, and control issues. CNC repair knowledge is REQUIRED for this role. Experience with preventive & predictive maintenance. Ability to interpret electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical prints/schematics. Experience identifying failure causes and recommending improvements Experience managing work orders, PMs, and parts inventory (CMMS). Experience with equipment - CNC, injection molding, fabrication, welding, assembly, testing, HVAC, and facility systems. Must be comfortable with heights. Physical requirements are standing, walking, twisting at the waist, lifting, and lowering weights up to 40lbs. Steel-toed footwear is required.
