We're on the hunt for a Freight Operator to join our Mount Maunganui branch! Team Global Express NZ delivers freight forwarding, end-to-end transport services, and comprehensive logistics solutions to customers operating in New Zealand from Kaitaia to Invercargill. Shift: Monday - Friday 11.00am - 7.30pm About the role - Mō te tūranga In this hands-on role, you'll be loading and unloading freight, scanning, sorting, and keeping everything moving safely and on time. No two days are the same - it's fast-paced, physical work where teamwork is key. Key duties: Load and unload all freight safely and securely, for both road and rail units. Achieve branch operational objectives by using On-time to scan freight efficiently. Ensure all equipment is operated in a safe and proficient manner. Maintain good working relationships. Communicate effectively within a team environment What will you bring? - Ōu Pūkenga? Clean Full NZ Class 1 License - must have Forklift License with OSH cert - must have Dangerous Good Endorsement - ideal Customer-focused attitude Communication and teamwork skills Experience driving on New Zealand roads Your Benefits - Ō Painga Our staff welfare trust will cover 80% of your medical bills up to $1500 per year.
