Research Analyst

Responsibilities

• Develop key insights that lead to long-term investment recommendations.
• Articulate and share key insights to translate into value-added portfolio actions.
• New idea screening and industry landscaping for public equity investment ideas within emerging markets.
• Develop and recommend investment ideas, with particular focus on companies that operate in emerging markets.
• Develop and build complex financial models to assist when making investment decisions. Draft investment case summary documents for companies under serious investment consideration.
• Closely follow existing investments in Companies where Analyst is the lead research person. This would include activities such as following relevant industry trends, company results, management touchpoints, competitive analysis, etc.
• Collect and track pertinent company, industry, and portfolio level data over time.
• Actively participate in weekly Investment Team and Strategy Team meetings, sharing research views, company and industry updates and potential Investment Actions.
• Participate in Management and select Client Service/Business Development efforts.
• MIN.REQ.: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Business Management, Economics, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
• MIN. EXP.: 4 years of experience in job offered or related experience in roles such as Research Analyst, Investment Analyst, Investment Research Analyst, Asset Management Analyst, Equity Analyst, Equity Research Analyst, Investing Analyst, and Research Associate.
• TRAVEL REQ.: Up to 40% of domestic and international travel.
• WAGE RANGE: $200,000 to $250,000/year.
