Job Description: Position Title: Material Handler Reporting To: Paint Shop Supervisor Location: Magheracloone, Carrickmacross, Co Monaghan Hours of work : 40 Hours Monday to Friday, 8AM - 5PM Reporting to Paint Shop Supervisor, you will work as part a team to handle the movement of incoming deliveries to the site and the movement of materials for production in a safe and efficient manner. You will be responsible for creating a seamless flow of materials to and from Production, Paint and Assembly. Main Duties & Responsibilities: Efficient and timely handling of all materials Support Production through timely and accurate delivery of Parts Off loading and accurate storage of incoming deliveries Safely operate the Counterbalance FLT and Combilift Truck when manoeuvring across the site Loading and Unloading of Material from one part of production to the other including the removal and replacement of parts from paint stillages Compliance with internal environmental and waste management procedures Following Standard Work procedures General Housekeeping Duties Experience and Qualifications: Previous experience of working in a fast-moving manufacturing environment Valid Counterbalance FLT Ticket IT literate - previous experience of MRP style system would be advantageous Understanding of Safe working practices Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Safety Conscious Self-motivation and initiative Ability to work well in a team Ability to problem solve Strive towards continuous improvement Ability to work in an environment that is fluid with constantly changing priorities This job description is not exhaustive due to the changing environment of the company.
